Thanks for the comment Wayne.

I know a lot of people store their images on Amazon S3 but I never understood how that's supposed to make your page load faster. I may be wrong about this but you're just storing your images on another server instead of your own. How does that make your page load faster. Now logically speaking you'd think that it would take longer to load because now the browser has to go out and retrieve information from two servers instead of one.

Now this of course is different for everyone depending on who your hosting company is and what your bandwidth limits are. I always thought that most people that use Amazon S3 do so because of all the videos they have and they use way more storage space than images. Also if you have a high traffic site where people are constantly watching your videos then I absolutely agree that Amazon is the way to go because you will quickly exceed your bandwidth limits of your hosting company. But for just images, I don't agree.

Hi Jeff,

A couple of comments I can add (from my own painful experience) in the early days:

1) Host landing page images on Amazon S3. Your images will load so much faster when they're hosted on Amazon which makes the page load faster and gives you more opportunity to make the first impression within the 5 seconds you've got.

2) The OFFER is the most important part of a landing page. The highest converting landing page in IM history is commonly cited as a landing page that solved a dating problem for men. The reason it converted so well is because the traffic was highly qualified (slightly desperate men) in a situation where the offer stirred the pain and presented a solution when they most need it.

Offer something more than just an eBook. And don't offer MRR or PLR, especially in the IN niche. Marketers have seen them all before and you're only building someone else's business by magnifying their brand. People know who originally made the eBook and who just inherited and passed it on second hand. Use something like software or a full video course to entice the user. I'm currently working on this myself at the moment. I think you should offer something that users would happily pay for.

Thanks,
