Happy New Year – Let’s Shine In 2009
Happy New Year to everyone.
I wonder how many people are still in bed this morning nursing a hangover. I hope it was worth it. I feel just fine this morning. The strongest thing I had to drink last night was a glass of Sprite.
I’m sitting at my kitchen table sipping on a nice hot cup of coffee trying not to think about what it’s like outside. But incase anyone else is wondering, it’s 5 degrees below 0 and during the night wind gusts up to 40mph. I don’t know what that translates to as far as wind chill but I’ve been living here long enough to know that’s freakin cold. On top of that, we got another foot of snow yesterday.
On the bright side, the wind has calmed down, the sun is shining and it has stopped snowing finally. If it sounds like I’m whining about the weather here you’re right on, that’s because I can’t stand winter.
If you’ve been reading my blog at all you will see in other posts that the last few weeks here have been hell as far as the weather goes.
I just have to keep telling myself that in 4 months I’ll be standing in a river catching trout when ever I feel like it. That’s what gets me through these New England winters.
til next time…

Hi Jeff,
It’s taking me for ever to get round everyone just to say hi, so I don’t want you to think I am being rude, but I’m turbo hopping to get round as many of the F500 that I can. If I wait for you to come to me, it might never happen. Thanks to all who have already visited Planet Valz.
This means I have a standard message for everyone, and I’m leaving it as a comment to the latest post. I hope this does not offend you as communication and generosity is what is driving this.
Firstly, my wishes to you for a Happy, Healthy and very Prosperous Year 2009.
Secondly, I want to give you a New Year present, but you need to go to http://daybydaymarketing.com/2008/12/choose-your-new-year-present/
I would appreciate being added to your blogroll. I am happy to add you to mine when you come over.

P.S. I love the interesting green of this blog, and I guess with the harsh weather you have in winter, this green reminds you of those very welcome fresh green shoots of spring and all that they promise. Now I’ve looked a little closer at them, is it my eyesight or do they all have a little white topping, like icing? Or snow? A very simple theme that makes for much interest, whilst keeping it clear and crisp. Well done Jeff. Love it.
Hey Jeff,
Happy New Year! I live in Malaysia where the weather has no snow in it whatsoever. So the concept of winter chill is quite intriguing. Most likely I’ll be bundled up in thicker winter clothing hehe.
Anyways, take care of yourself and may you trout fish soon!
All the best!

Hey Erwin,
Right now I wish I was where you are. Once again this morning is -3 degrees fahrenheit or -19 degrees celsius depending which unit of measure you use in Malaysia.
Good Luck with your business and I hope you have a prosperous 2009.
Later,
