I have often heard entrepreneurs complain, “Despite of subscribing to my newsletter, people aren’t reading it.” Subscriber aversion is something that every online business owner confronts sooner or later. Instead of worrying about the declining open rates, it’s essential to dig out the root cause of the problem, and thereafter, take measures to set it right. Back on Dec 23, 2008 I made a post here on how I was going to drive traffic to my blog. Well, I can tell you that I have done everything I said I was going to do except join Squidoo. And I did start to see an increase in traffic. Now before I say anymore or post an image of my results I want to state that in an earlier post I did say I would keep you up to date on how I was doing, good or bad.
This is how I was doing just a couple weeks after starting Alex Jeffreys coaching program.

You must have heard the old saying, “The money is in the list”. I followed this saying blindly, and went on to build a small list of 500 subscribers. However, to my horror, I failed miserably. It was then I realized that what really matters is the quality of the list rather than the length. The subscriber list is the most important asset for any business and even with a small but, high-quality list, you can get the best conversion rate. The big question that springs up at this point of time is how to build a top-notch list? Here are my top 5 list building secrets that can help you to build a first-rate list speedily and easily. One Way Backlinks are the most difficult of backlinks to get and for this reason require the most work to get them.
First off, all one way backlinks are not created equal.
One big determining factor on the worth of the link is where it comes from. You are going to want to get links from other sites that have a high page rank. Another key factor to making this link worth more is the relevancy of this site to yours. You want these links to come from sites that are on the same or similar topic as yours.

Alex Jeffreys challenged myself and the rest of his students to step out of our comfort zone and create a video. All we had to do was to make a video and submit it to Youtube and the video that received the most views would win.
Sounds simple enough right, unless of course you’ve never done it before which is my case.
I’ve been working all week on this video contest. I didn’t have a camcorder so I had to borrow one and learn how to use it. Then I’ve been having nothing but trouble with the software. I did manage to finally record the video and next I had to figure out Youtube which this will be the first time I’ve submitted a video.

I’m going to be giving an audio interview with my fellow Marketing With Alex students Mark Call, Garry Parkes and Mark Austin. The interview will be posted sometime in January on StudentsOfAlex.com. I will let you know as I find out a few more details.
When I was asked if I wanted to do this at first I said you’ve got to be kidding me, what have I got to offer. There must be some more interesting people than me they could be interviewing. But then I thought why not me, I have as much to offer as anyone else.
