Alex Jeffreys challenged myself and the rest of his students to step out of our comfort zone and create a video. All we had to do was to make a video and submit it to Youtube and the video that received the most views would win.

Sounds simple enough right, unless of course you’ve never done it before which is my case.

I’ve been working all week on this video contest. I didn’t have a camcorder so I had to borrow one and learn how to use it. Then I’ve been having nothing but trouble with the software. I did manage to finally record the video and next I had to figure out Youtube which this will be the first time I’ve submitted a video.

Happy New Year to everyone.

I wonder how many people are still in bed this morning nursing a hangover. I hope it was worth it. I feel just fine this morning. The strongest thing I had to drink last night was a glass of Sprite.

I’m sitting at my kitchen table sipping on a nice hot cup of coffee trying not to think about what it’s like outside. But incase anyone else is wondering, it’s 5 degrees below 0 and during the night wind gusts up to 40mph. I don’t know what that translates to as far as wind chill but I’ve been living here long enough to know that’s freakin cold. On top of that, we got another foot of snow yesterday.
